February update on NYR

1. I want to be healthier by exercising more. For the first three months of the year, I want to workout at least twice a week. For now, this will probably consist of my doing a night of yoga, either at home or at a studio, and going to the gym at school at least once a week.
-- Well, I have been consistently swimming at least once a week. Most weeks I have been twice, or worked out on a treadmill + elliptical machine once. For March, the goal is to go at least twice a week, and three times possible. It's starting to get nice outside, so trying to run seems like a good idea as well.

2. I also want to be healthier in my diet. My overall lack of time led to eating not so healthy foods and I think that's at least one of the reasons why I had frequent ailments last year. I don't really have any concrete goals for this one.
-- I've been working on portion control, trying to stop eating around the 80% full mark. I have not finished reading "You are what you eat". I really need to add more vegetables to my diet. My goal for March is to eat at least one serving of veggies per day.

3. I want to be more conscious of my work, my personal relationships, and my life, and where everything is going. My plan is to reflect daily, and keep a two-three line journal and write in it at the end of each day .
-- This isn't working at all. Regardless, I have been getting a lot done, but would like to have a better idea how much time I'm spending productively vs. not. I'm considering using tickspot.com more effectively, somehow.

4. I want to be a more effective producer, not a consumer. I'm planning on scheduling in a good chunk of hours for knitting, sewing, maybe even fancy cooking, every weekend. As before, I want to use what I have and decrease my stashes, not increase.
-- I've been trying out new recipes once a week or so. For instance, I'm very happy that I've been able to make good Phad Thai. Spring break is coming up, so my goal is to wrap up the following projects over that week:
* Sock for BF
* Lace blouse for me
* Pajama bottoms for both of us
